About

The Charleston Brown Water Society (CBWS) was founded in 2013 to foster the knowledge and appreciation of whiskey among its members and to promote the availability of good whiskey in Charleston, South Carolina, and beyond.

We hold regular member gatherings such as whiskey tastings, educational seminars, meet and greets with distillers. We also put on public events like the annual BBQ invitational.

The finest group of whiskey drinkers this side of the Appalachians.

If you offer us whiskey, we scream, "hell yes!," as we're members of the CBWS. To drink whiskey with friends is our one true wish, so we tip this Rare Breed in honor of Fish.
